Appeal denied

Miller Pleimann, a right handed pitcher from Fayetteville, won’t be able to pitch this year. His appeal for an immediate-eligibility waiver was denied by the NCAA, so he won’t be able to pitch until 2021. Pleimann pitched at Wichita State last season and transferred after Todd Butler was fired as the head coach there.

No surprise here on NCAA’s lack of reasonable cooperation on waivers & appeals, especially with Arkansas.

You would think that a fired coach & related turnover would be a reasonable justification for a player to transfer to another program without penalty.

When it comes to the NCAA and waivers when it’s an Arkansas player there’s simple no reason to submit one!
I wish a player would take them to court for being rejected. It would be interesting to see what a judge would rule.
