Any concerns with today’s rubber match?

I know it’s only the third SEC series, but I think it’s very important that we win this series today.

  3. Another confidence booster!
  4. We are fixing to get into some really, really though SEC series.
  5. Ole Miss seems to have our number and I hope we can end that today.

Agree. And I hate Ole Miss, too.

I wanted to sweep this series, but the loss yesterday makes losing it a strong possibility. We can’t afford to lose a series at home—not if our goal is to become a national seed.

When you’re playing teams like this the little things usually what determines who wins and loses. Yesterday we did not do all things and it cost us at least two runs.

I like our chances today they are throwing a freshman who is not been pitching very well hopefully our bats will come out and set the tone early and scroggins will continue to throw the ball the way he has and we will do the little things that will enable us to win and not beat ourselves if we do that no doubt we will win the game.

Rubber Game, Veteran’s need to pick it up. I believe Cody Scroggins has shown that he is the best Sunday Starter in the SEC.

I hate Ole Miss as much or more as anyone else! The hogs gave that game away yesterday. If a team win they score when they get a lead off double, and runners on 2nd and 3rd with less than 2 outs! You also get a sac bunt down with runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. All OT those things happened in that game.
While the pitching gave up some late long balls by leaving pitches out over the plate with the blue light special bust me light flashing it’s not the reason we lost! Offense needs to step up’
I hope Cronnin is available today and we win. We will know in just a few hours.

The thing that makes this game so important is that we’re on the road the next two weeks, at Auburn and at Vandy. I think we have a very good team, but we cold easily come back from those two weekends with a 2-4 record to show for it (or worse). Would be so nice to be 7-2 heading out on the road instead of 6-3.
