Anthony Grant of Dayton named coach of the year

Fired at Alabama in 2015. Nice work there, Tide.

I think a lot of programs would have let Grant go when Alabama did. He went to one NCAA Tournament in six years.

Sometimes good coaches aren’t good fits, and they learn from their mistakes. The national football and basketball coaches of the year are great examples of that.

Good point. Ed was a two-time loser.

IMO, it was the right decision in 2015 and being named the coach of year is the right decision in 2019

Never let it be said that I passed up an opportunity to make fun of Bama.
