I’m stunned, absolutely stunned…that AB has declared for the draft (while a top 10 prospect).

You know, others have been saying for weeks that AB’s coming back…

By the way, if he goes #8 in the draft as ESPN projected this morning, he’ll start out at $5 million per year. I think I’d leave too.

Filipowski is probably turning down about $3M a year to come back. Dook has good NIL but it ain’t THAT good.

After the first-round win over Illinois, I think it was, I walked over with other beat guys to talk with AB and he asked us to give him a minute. He blew his nose into a towel for like 30 seconds straight. He was dealing with a head cold or stuffiness and gave the team 37 minutes. Offense wasn’t there that day but he still impacted winning. One of my favorite kids I’ve covered since 2017.

Man I am going to miss this kid. Each night you knew what you were going to get from him……a tough minded, team oriented ball player that wanted nothing more than to help his team get a W no matter what that meant and how to go about doing it!!!
