An analysis of No. 10 Arkansas’ win over UNC-Asheville, including the Razorbacks rolling in the absence of Nick Smith, Jalen Graham’s night, and the handsy defensive play of Makhi Mitchell and Kamani Johnson:
Maybe it’s just me and I know who we played but that is the best I’ve seen this team play, especially the 1st half. When they share the ball like that the Hogs are unstoppable.
I know Graham may have defensive shortcomings. But he has some short-range/post moves that I’ve never seen out of any Arkansas player, maybe except for Corliss (sort of — Corliss largely had a different skill set). He’s got great footwork in the paint and that little baby hook. Deadly.
Props to Pinion too. He played a terrific game offensively and worked hard on D. He’s earning some PT. His ability to hit the 3 is invaluable.
Both Graham and Pinion helped themselves with their play, they really add to our over-all strength and depth. Hogs are a very strong team and are continuing to improve.
