We struggle with good guards. Utterly flabbergasted that we would try to play them in a switching man to man for so long in the first half. We cant handle good guards one on one. Its been our weakness all year.
We didn’t expect to win and we are not as good a team as Florida. Its OK. Beat Georgia and win a couple in the SECT and we are good to go.
But when we zoned them, they hit threes. That’s why they used to call long-range shooters zonebusters. They had value for that reason even in the old pre-three-point days.
Yeah, they did. But we were undisciplined in our zone. Leaving them wide open.
We lost cause Florida is a better team, plain and simple. I’ll continue to grouse about the game, cause that is what I do.
I think we run Georgia out of the building.

I hope you are right with that scenario, but it will mean we will probably have to beat FL or KY to win 2 in the SECT. Not sure I wouldn’t rather play KY. If we are to beat either one, we will have to play 40 minutes of basketball, not 25 like we did tonight.
I agree we have trouble with good guards, and here comes JJ Frazier…
