An in-depth look at Arkansas and Oral Roberts, plus some key player trends on both sides:
I didn’t realize that Obanor was such a three-point threat.
Just wondering…If Henderson got 10-12 minutes against ORU to spell Smith and/or Williams, would he likely be effective in guarding Obanor?
Great info and article! This one stat really jumped out for me:
"Arkansas’ best lineup in the NCAA Tournament, according to HoopLens analytics, has been Davis-Moody-Tate-Notae-Smith. The group scored at a 1.13 point-per-possession clip and turned the ball over twice in 54 possessions together.
That’s some smallball there. In order, 6-3. 6-6, 6-6, 6-1, 6-7. But all very quick and aggressive at both ends of the court.
Henderson has defended in the post better than on the perimeter. He also has a tendency to foul.
For the rest of this tournament, if Henderson plays 10 minutes in a game then I’m guessing it’s because of an injury or serious foul trouble to others.
