Accept the fact that we are

Lower tier of SEC - we need new coordinators

Uninspired football today, also 3 losses by 3points or less

We don’t have elite defensive lineman or secondary players. We are also bad, bad inside the 20. We can’t score touchdowns. We just need better players.

I accepted we were lower tier in SEC football a long time ago

Yep. Last year we won them. This year, not so much.

Thought this was common knowledge. We have an under 500 record in the SEC after over two decades in the conference

Why just coordinators?

Four — Texas A&M, Liberty, LSU and Missouri.

We have to recruit better. Hard to recruit better when you can’t win.
The circle of suck

Look at our DB situation. One of our freshmen wide receivers had to ask the staff to move him to DB. Then he ends up starting. So we either don’t develop our DB’s or we sure don’t recruit well back there.

Actually, we need better athletes.

Serious question, do we just give up?

Apparently no one other than a career assistant wanted the job last time.

I did not like the hire, but maybe it was our only choice.

Stop putting any resources into football and put more into basketball and baseball?

We all know the definition of insanity, are we just being insane?

I for sure am not making any decisions while this ticked off, but I see no reason to renew my football tickets. I am not rich enough to justify throwing money away.

He played CF-safety in HS. No film at CB.

The issue is that football $$$ drives the ability for the other sports to succeed. I feel your pain. I would like to keep my $ in my pocket next year.

But he wasn’t brought here to play D. Why was there not anyone in that room that was ready to play?

We burned Quincey’s red shirt to go 6-6?

No, we can’t give up. I don’t know the answer, that’s why I am sitting in my recliner bitching about the game and Sam is coaching.

But I do know that we can’t continue recruiting like we are and be successful.

Hog fans need to start being realistic and stop drinking the kool-aide each offseason about how good this team looks and can be.
They are what they are and probably exactly what Frank Broyles imagined when he decided to jump to the lucrative dollars of the SEC!
He knew we could likely compete well in many sports and would struggle in football with the exception every now and then, but the financial windfall for the University would be worth it.
Having said that we should expect to beat the likes of Missouri more than we have to this point and that’s disappointing
This team and it’s coaches will get exactly what it deserves after this season which is an extremely low tier bowl game…

No. Just lower your expectations. This isn’t a basketball situation Where we have certain resources in place to compete for championships.

Those same resources are not in place for football.

Say what you want, but for football the move to the SEC has been disastrous. Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU are better programs than us. Don’t think you could’ve said that 25 years ago

No one is giving up. Especially Razorbacks. Sam will regroup.
Stomp the opponent in the bowl game and get ready for next year. Make some coaching changes and pull as many top athletes as he can from the portal to get us in better position next year.

Sec football is not for the weak. Have to get stronger and faster athletes. The difference between an average season and a very good season can be 10-12 points. We are close. Sam is not giving up

I don’t know how my expectations could be much lower. Should I expect to lose to Liberty? Lower them to going 3-9? 4-8?

To struggling against Mo. State?

To giving away MORE games???
