I have read that the fall game with OU has been moved to Friday, September 20 at 7:45 PM. Can anyone confirm that? I’ve looked through Twitter, Facebook, the last two newspapers, and the official site, but I can’t find anything commenting on it.
Before the message board changeover, I answered this. So here it is again:
The Oklahoma game has been agreed to in principle, but nothing has been finalized yet. Arkansas is concerned about playing the exhibition game on Saturday because of the San Jose State football game, while Oklahoma can’t play until well into the evening Friday because of classes. I’m told there is an NCAA rule that pertains to exhibitions. Basically it limits how much class players can miss to play a game that does not count against the standings.
