4 pillars of modern college coaching

  1. Recruiting–single most important. Includes balancing high school talent and transfer portal.

  2. In game coaching–adjustments, scouting, game planning

  3. Player development–helping player develop their game over time

  4. Program building–brand, NIL, social media, etc. Old school coaches would think this doesn’t matter but increasingly important to be successful at #1

Seems to me that Muss is one of the very few (< 5) coaches out there that are elite at all 4 of these. He is almost the perfect coach for the current college hoops landscape. I literally wouldn’t trade him for any coach in America.
