Arkansas has struggled this year with 3rd down conversions, bottom tier in the SEC. Well, Alabama is #1 in the nation. We’ve got to slow that down. The 3 and outs are everything for Arkansas, on both sides of the ball. I think we’re about as healthy as we’ve been all season on defense, sans Catalon. Bama’s dinged up in the RB ranks, maybe they’ll be a bit less balanced on offense this w/e? I like what we’ve seen lately with Johnson, gives us a valuable capability on offense, Still, it’s our 3rd down plays, that should tell the tale.
It seems to me that lately, college teams are getting more and more daring and going for it on 4th down. So, not sure if 3rd down conversion stat tells the whole story.
