2024 football game against the aggies

My high school class reunion committee scheduled our reunion for September 28, 2024 at 3 PM. This is bound to interfere with our game against the Aggies, either on the front end or the back end. I think the start time for the game is TBD and will remain as such for quite some time. I have to drive about 200 miles to get to my reunion so recording the game and watching it later is out of the question. If anybody has special insight into the probable game time, I’d like to hear it. I’m either going to be late for my reunion or leave early if it’s a night game but I don’t think they’ve ever played that game in Dallas at night.

PS my high school reunion committee works really hard on these reunions. They just aren’t big football fans.

2015, 6:00 p.m. kickoff. I remember that because my nephew got married that afternoon and we listened to the game during the reception afterward.

Also 2009 was a night game but that was before A&M joined the SEC.

Last year’s game was at night, lol.

Also true, although I’ve tried to put the fumble and the doink out of my memory.

2 hrs makes no difference in recording> I often do that, especially with 11 A games and watch that night. Just have to be carefully to stay away from anyplace that gives scores.

If you want to listen, the game will be live on Sirius radio or the Hog App.

Well, I guess nobody should trust anything else I say for here on out!

If I record the game at my house and then drive 200 miles home on Sunday that ain’t gonna work for me…and I have no desire to listen on the radio. I need to find a place to watch that is close to the reunion site…a sports bar, or my hotel.

I think you’ll have time to figure this out in the next 17 months, lol.

The good news is, with all our games migrating to the ESPN/SECN platform, there will be a lot less (or none at all) of this set the game time 13 days in advance stuff. Very few TBAs expected for 2024 and beyond.

LRCHS Class of '56 moved our reunion from September to April.
