I get the sense that this year’s cancellation of games will not affect any of the nonconference games that are scheduled next year. For instance, the Razorbacks were supposed to play at Michigan State and Oklahoma this year, with the teams returning the games to Fayetteville in 2021. It appears both of those series will be played as scheduled, then the teams might try to find a replacement date for the game(s) lost this year in 2022 or beyond.
What I’m interested most to see is how the SEC crafts its schedule next year. None of the games in 2020 were played, so there is some thought that the 2020 schedule could just carry over to the 2021 season, then the home-and-away and East/West rotations would pick back up in 2022.
