Big takeaway is that he has a top 3 now - Arkansas, LSU and UALR.
Wow, that’s huge news. Have to like our chances among those 3, although UALR is very interesting to make his top 3, guess Flanigan is selling him on staying in his hometown and being a star at UALR.

I may be remembering wrong but did UALRs coach not take a higher profile job this offseason?
Actually former UALR head coach Chris Beard took two higher profile jobs in the off season - first with UALR and then with Texas Tech, when Tubby Smith left to take over at Memphis.
UALR then hired Wes Flanigan, the son of Little Rock Parkview head coach Al Flanigan, who is the current high school head coach of Khalil Garland

Be it that it may, Dale Brown is strong on Johnny Johnson, not very many schools could come in and take their prize recruits out from under their watching eyes…
I feel good about our staff locking Mr Garland up, besides choosing the Hawgs, kills two birds with one stone (two instate schools one is considered the flagship school of the state competing in one of the power 5 D1 conferences).
