So far…
I have my doubts another college basketball game will beat those numbers because there are too many competitors for screen time. The most-watched game this year averaged around 18 million viewers.

Interesting stats. What’s also interesting to me is that, other than the ‘75 UK/UCLA game, I remember being one of the viewers watching all of those games.
In many cases, I can tell you exactly where I was and with whom I was watching.
