we rushed a lot of passes like on the inbounds late in the game on the press.as much as we press we should be excellent against it but we have LOTS of work to do on it. look before you pass.we will learn.

We lost because clearly Texas is the better team. Texas had a horrible shooting night so, by rights, Texas should have won by a big margin. However, give Arkansas credit for playing good defense and keeping the score close. Also, Arkansas is a very young team so even with the loss of Gafford, next year Arkansas should be better.
That is a good short concise recap. Good job.

A host of things attributed to this close painful lost,
1. Missed free throws
2. Few careless turnovers at in opportune times
3. A certain ref calls against the hawgs at critical times in the game...

Regarding the officiating I did not see any players protesting the calls only Mike......

It’s sometimes best that way, a young player can easily get caught up in the moment & get a technical or worse a lot quicker than a coach.
Refs listen to coaches more than the players anyway except in the NBA.
