Crickets and frogs appreciation

Depends upon one's point of view

Musically speaking, they CAN cause vexation

Because they sound better than you
And better than your rhyming skills as well
Your rhyming skills are like road kills

They're messy and disgusting

They're layman efforts with no frills

And sorely need adjusting

Some folk sing with a cricket's "voice"

Their tonality's all the same

For some folk the bullfrog sound's their choice

But the crickets and frogs aren't to blame

Some fans are proud to be Razorback Hogs

Some creatures are proud to be crickets and frogs

We're in The Southeast Conference to win it

And losing HURTS, - - - HOWEVER you spin it

Why are place kickers as light as a cricket

How do they have the required leg to kick it

I don't see hefty dudes booting the ball

The frogmarching lightweights ALWAYS get the call

I assume there are chirps that don't come from a cricket

And croaks that don't come from a frog

If you have a chapped mouth it's best not to lick it

Or you'll be a really chapped Hog

If you don't want a cricket you can reach out and flick it

And send it on its merry way

And when a bullfrog meets a Razorback Hog

The bullfrog has nothing to say

Neither crickets nor frogs make prime candidate pets

You won't see many in the offices of vets

And Razorback Hogs are a rarity to see

Within the confines of captivity

Crickets rub their legs together

That's their form of speech

Frogs really thrive in rainy weather

It brings delight to each

Through sunny days and stormy seasons

I'm a staunch Hogs fan

Many are the valid reasons

For I'm a reasonable man

Crickets do not eat very much

And frog legs are not much to eat

Last season's football record was such

That misery now reigns complete

Crickets and bullfrogs do not get much love

And each one is centered on self

When a casual push sometimes turns to a shove

Civility's laid on the shelf

Wild creatures don't often show a soft side

Frogs DO eat crickets for lunch

Crickets who've claimed to eat frogs prob'ly lied

'Cuz that doesn't happen a bunch
