Re: Gafford and NBA

If he keeps playing like he did against Indiana, he will be a top 5 draft pick and, in that case, staying one more year (not two more years) was a very smart move since he will earn considerably more during the next two years than he would have in his first three years.

Re: Transfers

Different time and era in college football when Coach Broyles May have signed multiple QB’s and then played them at different positions. I don’t really see where on this roster Ty Storey, Daulton Hyatt or Cole Kelley would be plugged into another position and be a regular contributor in the SEC. Ke...

Re: Transfers

We have several QBs that could transfer. However, they could play other positions. The QB was usually the best player on a team so Frank Broyles would sign a lot of QBs and play them as defensive backs or other positions.

Re: Indiana v Arkansas

Hey guys! Looking forward to a really good game this Sunday. Both our teams are young with really big upsides in my opinion. Bud Walton arena atmosphere is likely to be pretty wild. I wouldn't come here and predict a win for the Hoosiers but I'm sure it's going to be close either way. Best of luck!...

Re: Gafford and NBA

Getting stronger and better is what Gafford is doing this this year so staying for his second year made sense because, after this year, he will be more NBA ready and perhaps a much higher draft pick. And, if so, he will earn more money than if he left after the first year. However, there will not be...

Re: Recruiting part 2

Usually about 10% of the players Arkansas signs would be 1st team starters anywhere. However, in a sense you are right. Alabama, etc. also needs good second team players; players good enough to play their best for a few minutes to give their first team play a little rest. Mostly, when teams like Ala...

Re: Recruiting

Over the last 60 years, in good years, Arkansas would have a good first team, but not a good second team. Lack of good second team players is the reason Frank Broyles usually lost in the fourth quarter against Texas and the reason Houston Nutt implied Michigan beat Arkansas. Almost half of Arkansas'...

Actually, thought they were much improved today. Can get better, probably will.
I hope you are right. For me it's wait and see. I believe our coaches deserve a couple of years to recruit, teach, and turn things around.

Arkansas appears to be incompetent coaching special teams.

And may (I'm not sure) be incompetent coaching offense. However, they have an outstanding defensive coach.
