Re: Way too Early 2019 Razorback Football Predictions

Living in Texas and believing in Morris, I still think we get to 7-5. Can we do better? The quarterback competition should be intense and legit this year. The backs and receivers are SEC quality. The defense under Chief will be improved. O Line, where you at?

Go Hogs.

Re: Way too Early 2019 Razorback Football Predictions

The Morris offense revolves around the quarterback position. Ben Hicks is familiar with what Morris expects from his quarterback and should be a huge difference between the options available last year. In my opinion, the backups, including the incoming Jefferson kid, are better alternatives than eit...

Way too Early 2019 Razorback Football Predictions

WARNING : I'm an eternal optimist - and, crashed and burned with my predictions for the 2018 season. Having just watched the Red/White game, Ben Hicks seems to be a major improvement at quarterback and John Stephen Jones is no slouch in the Chad Morris offense. It will be interesting to see what Ni...

Re: Way too Early 2018 Razorback Football Predictions

In case anyone missed it, Clay Henry recently penned an excellent story about Clemson's former athletic director and Razorback, Terry Don Phillips. Phillips played an instrumental [and controversial] role in Dabo Swinney's early rise to head coach at Clemson as well as the eventual hiring of Chad Mo...

Re: SMU QB seeking transfer?

I don't want to sound negative but I think using the spot for a 2 or 4 year player makes more sense. No disagreement here, Army. Though I would think, should Morris elect to bring Ben Hicks in, he [Morris] would have a good idea of both the need and likelihood of Hicks becoming an instant starter. ...

SMU QB seeking transfer?

Impressive stats. Curious about whether the recruiting guys, DD or RD, have seen anything on Ben Hicks and a potential transfer. If so, any particular thoughts, one way or another? https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/arkansas-football/good-news-for-arkansas-chad-morris-last-smu-qb-seeking-transfer/ Go...

Re: Way too Early 2018 Razorback Football Predictions

Final Analysis First and foremost, what we all just went through has to be the most painfully watched Razorback football season in a lifetime. With the facilities, NW Arkansas area, academics and fan base, the program should never be at such a ridiculously low level. Never. Yet, here we sit at the ...

Re: Way too Early 2018 Razorback Football Predictions

Big recruiting weekend and a nice crowd to go with it on Saturday night. The season has been disappointing, to say the least, but the kids and coaches have not quit, which to me, has been impressive. Conversely, there seemed to be a lot of quit in watching Louisville the other night. In addition to ...
