Re: Gafford and NBA

He's got to go if he's still projected as a lottery pick by the end of the year. In just one game, we've seen his face or throat get stepped on and his arm wrenched on a blocked shot attempt. Too much risk of career-threatening injury if he stays. Would love to see him two more years, but it's not i...

C for execution and B for winning. But a 2-10 season.
Lot of negativity after a win. I wouldn't count this team out from winning at least one more, perhaps next week. We'll see.

Re: Vanderbilt

Understandably, Vanderbilt-Arkansas should be an early game. No network would want that in prime time, at least not with this year's records. But it would seem to me that Arkansas ought to be able to request at least afternoon games, if not night games, for at least a few home games. Seems like a f...

Re: We really suck

I forgot that Cole Hedlund transferred to North Texas and appears to be having some success there. What does that say about the coaching he got (or did not get) here? Nothing. As a former kicker said on another thread, much of kicking is mental. Hedlund would kick great in practice, even in pre-gam...

Re: Playing instate schools.

Wally’s column today is simply another attempt to further the Arkansas media’s desire for instate competition. Whether it be the Buzz, the ADG, Bo Mattingly, Jonesboro print media, or whoever. All of these folks have a desire to see this happen to create controversy, which they feel would benefit t...

Re: First game observations

Quarterbacks B (they've not arrived; still work to be done) Running backs C+ (hard to say they were good, but also it takes a line to tango in runs) Receivers A- (always room to get better) Tight ends C (weren't targeted or utilized enough with Hudson Henry in the hosue) Offensive line C- (as bad as...

Re: Advice Needed - Seat Selection

And don't forget, the big screens ought to help with replays if you opt for the lower seats.

Re: Arkansas quarterbachs

Most universities have five or six. One (Jack Lindsey) is not likely to take meaningful snaps except on special teams. Two (Connor Noland and John Stephen Jones) are freshmen who likely will play some because of the new redshirt rule. If one of them steps up and plays well, they may not be redshirte...
